Release System Components

 

The clutch is a complex system of individual components – each subject to wear that can affect clutch performance. As part of a complete repair, LuK offers a full line of clutch system components. When it comes to ensuring the superior performance and long service life of your new LuK RepSet, LuK has everything you need to get the job done right.

Hydraulics

LuK offers a complete line of high-quality slave and master cylinders for import and domestic vehicle applications. Worn hydraulic components can cause clutch release problems. Plastic hydraulic components cannot be rebuilt. To prevent off-the-lift problems, LuK highly recommends replacing these components with every clutch change.

Concentric Slave Cylinders

Limited package space, weight reduction and other factors are driving the need for functional integration within the clutch system. LuK concentric slave cylinders (CSC) combine the slave cylinder and release bearing into one compact unit designed to extend service life and minimize pedal effort.

Many LuK RepSets contain concentric slave cylinders to ensure the job is done right. Consult the LuK RepSet catalog to determine if the RepSet for your application includes the slave cylinder.

Release Forks and Cables

LuK offers forks for popular applications and a complete line of cables for import and domestic vehicle applications. Forks are vulnerable to contact point wear, and binding or frayed cables can cause release and hard pedal problems. Replace the fork if wear is visible. LuK recommends replacing the cable with each clutch change.

Tools

There’s nothing like the right tool to make quick work of a complex job. LuK’s complete line of specialty tools makes clutch installations fast and accurate every time. The line includes universal alignment tools, a pilot bearing puller kit, transmission/axle plug sets, a disc alignment tool and hydraulic bleeder tools.
